Cleo Harmony Features and Enhancements:
- Real-time Integration with Cleo Clarify and Cleo EEI
You can integrate Cleo Harmony (data movement) and Cleo Clarify and Cleo EEI (data transformation) to seamlessly hand-off between your applications. Any data from your trading partner can be passed through the Cleo Integration Suite (CIS) without the need to dispatch files or use custom programming.
- Cloud and Big Data Connectors
Cleo Harmony now includes several new connectors for integrating with cloud – and big data-based entities to drive your business intelligence and analytics tools. The HDFS connector enables interaction with HDFS stores for stand-alone, fault-tolerant storage or for purposes of analysis inside Hadoop. The Amazon S3 connector enables out-of-the-box connectivity to Amazon S3 buckets.
- Cleo Portal
End users can invite others to register into Cleo Portal. Invitees are immediately added to the Cleo Harmony and Cleo VLTrader applications as users but are left in a pending status until they self-register. The Cleo Portal administrator can control which users can send out invitations as well as the permissions granted to newly added users.
- Real-time Integration with the Harmony/VLTrader Monitor
This feature enables real-time processing capabilities between Clarify and Harmony or VLTrader. An automated seamless hand off between the CIS components eliminates the need for file system integration or other external needs. - Application Integration Connectors – Salesforce and NetSuite
The new Application Integration Connectors for Salesforce and NetSuite are now available. They are backed by easy to use wizards to simplify the building and maintaining of any integrations to these published APIs. Additional tooling and mapping enhancements were also added to support and streamline some of the complex mapping requirements.
- Application Integration Syntax – JSON
In addition to current set of supported syntaxes, JSON is now supported. As one of the more popular API syntaxes, support for JSON will enable broader integration capabilities for both large and small trading partners. Simply use the new JSON wizard with sample data to automatically create a new schema or update an existing schema.
BIzManger (OpenText)
BizManager™ is the flagship software from OpenText (formerly GXS) offering the following features:
- ERP integration to SAP {OpenText offers an SAP Adapter for a nominal fee to integrate with the chosen Translator).
- ERP integration to JDE, Oracle and Infor (Visual) – including ERP flat file and direct to database.
- Communications adapters for AS2 and FTP.
- Optional translator for EDI and XML.
- BizManager targets a wide range of scenarios from application-to-application (A2A) integration to extraction, transformation and loading. BizManager enables users to simplify business partner connectivity and management, enable systems to work in unison (eliminate distinct silos), meet industry mandates and business partner requirements, achieve 100% business partner connectivity, minimize inefficiencies (e.g. transaction processing costs, cycle times, etc.), gain real-time visibility into business activity and performance, plan for future growth, create a detailed audit trail, and expedite issue resolution and control.
BizManager is licensed in three different packages:
- OpenText BizLink – Powerful, enterprise-level server solution that simplifies the management of a large and diverse community of business partners and internal organizations. BizLink runs on the IBM AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Windows platforms. And, BizLink’s MultiLink feature provides load balancing via distributed installation on multiple servers.
- OpenText BizConnect – Java-based solution designed for small- and medium-sized organizations that need secure connectivity internally and with up to 25 business partners. Organizations with constrained IT resources that prefer the Windows platform may also select BizConnect.
- OpenText BizManager400 – Native Java-based solution for business partner data exchange built for the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform. Remote access allows business community management via a web browser interface.

Best known for their Barcode standards, GS1 has been developing and maintaining global standards for business communication since 1977. GS1 barcodes are scanned more than six billion times every day.
GS1 GDSN® (Global Data Synchronization Network®) is an interoperative data pool network enabling collaboration with end-users to securely synchronize their Trading Partner’s Master Data based on GS1 standards. GDSN is accurate, real-time data sharing and updates to trade items between community Trading Partner members (e.g. Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.).
